Safety & WHS

Safety is not a compliance checkbox at TTC Services — it is a core value embedded in every project, every day.

"As a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) under the NT Work Health and Safety Act 2011, TTC Services takes its primary duty of care seriously. We ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of all workers and others affected by our work."

— TTC Services Management

Our Safety Framework

Our safety management system is built on four pillars that ensure consistent, compliant, and safe delivery across all project types.

WHS Management Plan

Our comprehensive WHS Management Plan meets the requirements of the NT Work Health and Safety Act 2011. It covers hazard identification, risk assessment, control measures, and emergency procedures for all project types.

Safe Work Method Statements

Site-specific SWMS are prepared for all high-risk construction work (HRCW) as defined under the NT WHS Regulations. Every SWMS is reviewed and signed off by the site supervisor before work commences.

Incident Reporting

All incidents, near misses, and notifiable events are recorded and reported in accordance with NT WorkSafe requirements. We maintain a full incident register and conduct root cause analysis on all reportable events.

Worker Consultation

We fulfil our PCBU obligations by actively consulting with workers on WHS matters. Safety toolbox talks are conducted regularly, and all staff have the right to raise safety concerns without reprisal.

Tickets & Certifications

All TTC Services staff and subcontractors are required to hold current, relevant safety tickets before commencing work on any site. We maintain a live Training and Competency Register in Aroflo.

  • White Card (General Construction Induction) — All Staff
  • Working at Heights — All Site Staff
  • Asbestos Awareness — All Staff
  • Confined Spaces Entry — Relevant Staff
  • First Aid Certificate — Supervisors
  • NT Electrical Licence — All Electricians
  • NT Building Practitioner Registration — Site Supervisors

High-Risk Construction Work (HRCW)

TTC Services identifies and manages all HRCW activities as defined under the NT WHS Regulations, including work at heights, work near live electrical, confined spaces, and work with asbestos-containing materials.

Notifiable Incidents

In the event of a notifiable incident, TTC Services immediately notifies NT WorkSafe and preserves the site in accordance with the NT WHS Act 2011. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to underreporting.
